The upcoming Malayalam movie Guardian Angel, written and directed by Saju S Das, has an update for its fans. The makers have released the lyrical video of a song titled Kunjimala from the film. It is sung by the national award winner singer Nanjiyamma. Along with her, reality show fame contestant Sannidanandan also gave vocals for the song. It was released on the occasion of Dussehra. The music of the song is composed by Ram Surendar, while the lyrics are penned by Jyotish Kassi. The song was recorded at Digi Track, which is located in Thrissur.

She is originally a folk singer of the Azad Kala Samithi, which is led by Pazhani Swami, a tribal artist in Attappadi. She debuted in the Malayalam music industry with the song Kalakkatha.
