Vijay Varma is without a doubt Indian cinema’s most versatile actor, who never fails to astound his fans and viewers with his extraordinary performances. Having been receiving accolades for his role in the thriller drama, Vijay Varma garners notice for his first-ever on-screen dance performance from the film, in which he is seen dancing with Kareena Kapoor Khan.
The film directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Jaane Jaan features Vijay Varma dancing for the first time on-screen and sharing the story behind his dance performance. Vijay Varma took to his social media and shared a series of super adorable pictures from the film of himself with Kareena Kapoor Khan and captioned,
“I never danced on-screen before #JaaneJaan. I was always too shy.. I still am. It wasn’t even written in the script! I would have prepared myself in that case. @sujoyghoshofficial broke the news to me on the set and I protested.. But when @kareenakapoorkhan asks you to dance.. you dance. That’s the rule
Jaane Jaan presents the fresh side of the versatile actor and it also has him doing action sequences. From critics to the audiences, everyone is raving about his outstanding performance in the film.
Showsha gave the film 3 stars and wrote, “Varma plays a character who is cool analytical type, though his ego allows him to miss key details. His turn as a quirky but sincere cop is understated and believable. It is also a welcome change from all the negative roles that the audience has seen in his last few releases. Kareena is perpetually nervous and obviously in way over her head. She is flawless as a feisty yet vulnerable woman with an intriguing backstory. As a woman tackling personal and professional upheavals and displaying conflicting ideals, Kareena is in top form as she sheds her otherwise diva image and stands tall against two top actors (Varma and Ahlawat) who could have easily overshadowed her.”
Meanwhile, Vijay Varma, who ruled the year 2023 with “Dahaad,” “Lust Stories Season 2,” “Kaalkoot,” and the recent release “Jaane Jaan,” will be next seen in Homi Adajania’s ‘Murder Mubarak’ and the much-awaited ‘Mirzapur 3’
