The auspicious festival of Shardiya Navratri is celebrated with great pomp throughout the nation. It is a nine-day festival devoted to the worship of Maa Durga and her nine forms, collectively known as Navdurga. Astrologer Pandit Manotpal Jha told News 18 Hindi that vaastu dosha can be easily removed on the occasion of Shardiya Navratri.
The astrologer advised that worshipping the goddess during this time can end the negativity in one’s house. He also advised that certain rituals should be followed, which can end one’s financial adversities. Pandit Manotpal Jha believes that devotees will be strengthened economically if they keep worshipping Maa Durga with utmost devotion. Let’s take a look at some things to keep in mind to receive blessings financially.
According to him, the goddess should be worshipped regularly for 10 days, to accomplish the objective of removing the doshas. They should then light a lamp in their house every day to please Goddess Lakshmi and increase their financial prospects. People should also light sesame oil lamps on the left side of Maa Durga idol, and try to light a ghee lamp on her right side. This will increase happiness, peace, and prosperity in the home.
Pandit Manotpal Jha also advises devotees to perform kapoor aarti after puja, in the morning and evening. Camphor helps in getting rid of negative energies. As per reports, there are many important components present in camphor, due to which the untoward effects of polluted air also get eliminated. Camphor also has a lot of medicinal properties.
Along with this, devotees should take cow dung cake, add sugar to it, burn it, and place it in all four directions of their house. It is believed that the smoke from that cake will end all the negativism present in the house.
This year, Shardiya Navratri will start on Sunday (October 15, 2023) and end on Tuesday (October 24, 2023). Devotees can feed nine girls for 9 days. If not on these days, they must feed them on Ashtami and Navami, and also give them Dakshina. This is said to be auspicious.
