The Telugu film industry, popularly known as Tollywood, has achieved global fame. In recent times, Tollywood has produced some of the biggest hits like the Baahubali franchise, Pushpa: The Rise and RRR. The films emerged as huge hits on a pan-India level and garnered audience’s love. One of the driving forces behind these hit films has been their directors. SS Rajamouli: SS Rajamouli is one of the most successful directors in India. He has given biggest hits like Baahubali and RRR. He made the country proud after RRR won the Academy Awards for the song Naatu Naatu. As per reports, with such blockbuster films in his bag, it has been found that he takes around Rs 40 crore plus profit sharing as his fee. Reportedly, he got more than Rs 100 crore for RRR.
Trivikram Srinivas: Trivikram Srinivas is another director who has received a lot of recognition in the Telugu film industry. He has directed hit films like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Bheemla Nayak, and S/O of Satyamurty. As per reports, he charges Rs 35 crore and profit sharing. Recently, it has been reported that he is being paid between Rs 40 and 50 crore for his upcoming film Guntur Kaaram with Mahesh Babu.
Sukumar: Sukumar has been in the news for his most popular film, Pushpa: The Rise. His other hits include Rangasthalam and Virupaksha. According to reports, he charges Rs 25 crore and profits for his films. Currently, he is shooting for Pushpa’s sequel, Pushpa: The Rule.
Koratala Siva: In recent times, Koratala Siva’s name has been in the limelight. He has directed some of the most popular films like Janathe Garage, Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu, and Acharya. Most of his films have received a positive response. He is believed to be charging around Rs 20 crore for a film. Currently, he is directing Jr NTR’s highly-anticipated film Devara and is reportedly paid around Rs 30 crore.
Boyapati Srinu: Boyapati Srinu is among the most popular directors in Tollywood. He has worked in many films with Nandamuri Balakrishna. As per reports, he charges around Rs 20–25 crore per film.
