Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon and Pallavi Joshi’s photos with Waheeda Rehman are taking the internet by storm.
The 69th National Film Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday, October 17, at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Winners including Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Waheeda Rehman and Pallavi Joshi among others were honoured by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu. While Alia and Kriti jointly won the Best Actress award for Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi respectively, Pallavi Joshi won in the Best Supporting Actress category for The Kashmir Files. Meanwhile, Waheeda Rehman was awarded with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
Now, photos of the winning actresses posing with one another have gone viral on social media. In one photo, Alia, Kriti and Pallavi were seen posing with Waheeda. While Alia donned her ivory wedding saree for the ceremony, Kriti also looked beautiful in a white saree with a gold zari border. Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman also opted for a white and golden saree for the ceremony. Meanwhile, Pallavi contrasted the actresses in a stunning black saree with gold details. All actresses wore their hair in pristine buns.
In another photo, they were seen posing with singer Shreya Ghoshal and President Droupadi Murmu. Shreya, who stunned in a red saree, won the Best Playback Singer award for Maayava Chaayavaa from Iravin Nizhal (Tamil). In another photo, they were also joined by Ranbir Kapoor, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Pankaj Tripathi, SS Rajamouli, Allu Arjun, R Madhavan, Karan Johar and Vishnu Varadhan among others.
While the ceremony was held on Tuesday, the winners of the awards were announced earlier in August.
