Ranbir Kapoor joined Alia Bhatt at the National Film Award ceremony.
Alia Bhatt shared a few precious photos from the National Film Awards 2023. Alia was awarded the Best Actress medal for Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Alia Bhatt shared her best memories from the 69th National Film Awards and it included Ranbir Kapoor. The actress made her way to the National Film Awards ceremony on Tuesday in New Delhi to receive her Best Actress award. She was honoured with the award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Alia re-used her wedding for the ceremony. Taking to her Instagram, Alia shared a series of photos from the special day and said she has got a ‘memory for life.’
In the first photo, Alia was seen posing with her National Film Award certificate. She followed it up with a video of her receiving the award. She then shared a series of photos that gave fans a closer look at her outfit. She also shared a photo with Allu Arjun and Kriti Sanon, who won Best Actor and shared Best Actress with Alia, respectively.
However, one of the highlights of the post for her selfie with Ranbir Kapoor taken at the award ceremony. In the photo, Alia proudly displayed her medal while Ranbir took a picture of both of them. She ended the series of photos with a heartwarming photo of Ranbir seemingly protecting Alia as they walked the corridoor together.
Sharing the photo, Alia wrote, “A photo, a moment, a memory for life .”
Earlier in the evening, a video of Ranbir filming Alia’s precious moment went viral. Seated in the audience behind Waheeda Rahman, Ranbir was seen holding up his phone and recording Alia. The actress accepted a medal and a certificate from the President of India, Droupadi Murmu. The video of Ranbir recording Alia and the actress accepting her award has now gone viral. He was also seen congratulating Allu Arjun and Kriti Sanon for their wins.
