Durga Puja celebrations have gripped people around the country and Bollywood celebrities are no different. Even with the festival nearing its conclusion, several celebs took part in Ram Navami celebration. One such celeb was Janhvi Kapoor, who decked up to mark the festive occasion with her glamorous presence.
On Monday, popular paparazzo handle Viral Bhayani shared a clip in which Janhvi Kapoor not only performed the traditional namaskaram to seek the blessings from the deity but also expressed her devotion by bending on her knees and offering flowers. The Bawaal actress wore a stunning Pink saree, that she had accessorised with gold ornaments and golden hair band. The post caption read, “Janhvi shimmers in the hues of Navratri with Kalyan! #KalyanNavaratri #JanhviKapoor. The main theme this year was that of Kailas – with an entire region dedicated to telling the story of Shivas wedding with Madurai Meenakshi, culminating in their happily ever after at Kailash. All 12 jyotirlings were also represented at the model Kailash set up besides the kolu venue.”

On the work front, If recent reports were to be believed, the Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra might be collaborating for a Dinesh Vijan film. If sources close to the entertainment portal PinkVilla were to be believed, Sidharth Malhotra has selected a thriller that Dinesh Vijan proposed,”Sidharth Malhotra has been in talks with Dinesh Vijan for a while now and has discussed subjects falling across the genres. Among all that Sid discussed, he has zeroed in on a thriller with some action in the form of chase sequences for his maiden collaboration with Maddock. The film will go on floors by the first quarter of 2024.”
The source added, “Janhvi shares a great bond with Maddock while working on Roohi and is in talks to reunite with the banner for the upcoming thriller alongside Sidharth Malhotra. It’s a screenplay-driven script with twists and turns, and both the protagonists have strongly written parts. Janhvi is expected to take a call on the offer to team up with Sidharth for the first time very soon.”
Besides this, Janhvi will soon be featured in Devara, a pan-India film. Janhvi will appear with Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Prakash Raj in the film, which is directed by Koratala Siva. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the film’s music. Devara is set to be released in theatres on April 5, 2024.
