Janani Suraksha Yojana: Pregnant women to get Rs 6,000, know how to avail the benefit

The amount of money provided by the government is Rs.6,000 for the nourishment of the newborn and financial assistance for expecting mothers.

Janani Suraksha Yojana: The central government is putting several plans into action with the interests of all groups in mind. From infants to seniors, numerous schemes have been established. Through these programs, individuals receive direct or interest-based financial assistance from the government.

The Women Scheme, which provides 6000 rupees to women’s bank accounts to support their pregnancies and the health of their unborn children, was then launched by the government. In order to provide children with adequate nutrition and financial stability, this plan was initiated. This program offers financial assistance to pregnant women who deliver.

Under the Janani Suraksha Yojana, low-income households receive assistance. The plan covers both private hospitals with government licenses and healthcare facilities that are run by the government. If the delivery occurs in another hospital, the benefit of this scheme cannot be utilized.

The Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritv Abhiyan also makes delivery checkups possible in private or government hospitals from the first to the ninth of each month.

Documents necessary:
You will need information about your bank account, an Aadhaar card, a voter ID card, and a delivery certificate from a government hospital in order to take advantage of the Janani Suraksha Yojana. The scheme application form must be accompanied by these documents. After this application is approved, the scheme’s benefits will be provided.

Find out how to apply:
ASHA’s assistance will be used to implement this plan. It will be the responsibility of the ASHA employee to enroll everyone, update all of the data, and inform all of the pregnant women. Any pregnant woman who wants to take advantage of this program must meet with the Gram Panchayat-appointed ASHA worker. In the event of the ASHA worker’s absence, the village chief can also be reached.
