Family pension rules relaxed for THESE central govt staff, Major relief for government employees! –Check new rules

Payment of the advantages to the group of the missing Government worker would, nonetheless, be dependent upon the circumstances and procedural necessities, as referenced in this Department’s OM dated 25.06.2013.

On account of a Government worker covered under NPS disappears during administration and his family is given family benefits under CCS (Pension) Rules or CCS (EOP) Rules, the Permanent Retirement Account under National Pension System would stay suspended till the Government worker re-shows up or work he is proclaimed dead as per the law. In case of re-appearance of Government worker, the NPS account would be re-enacted and similar record under NPS will become employable.
