Dunki trailer has finally released and it seems like it has revealed the fate of Vicky Kaushal’s character. After the teaser was released, several social media users shared their theories that Vicky could die. Although it wasn’t clear at the time, it seems like the trailer has confirmed the theory. In the trailer, Shah Rukh’s character Hardayal Singh Dhillon introduces everyone’s characters, including Vicky’s Sukhi. He says that Sukhi spent most of his time learning English because he wanted to make his way to England.
However, the trailer takes a dark turn. Sukhi’s application to England gets rejected and we see an angry Vicky lash out. Soon, we are shown a funeral scene. While the leading and supporting stars, such as Taapsee Pannu and Boman Irani. Vicky is visibly missing, hinting at his death. An emotional Shah Rukh is seen delivering a monologue, prompting that the film would take a big turn from this moment. Watch the trailer below:
Vicky had opened up about working in the movie during a chat with Bollywood Hungama. “It’s a dream come true. Unko milna hi dream come true hota hai, unke saath kaam karna to socho kitna bada dream come true hai. (Just meeting him is a dream come true, so just imagine what a big dream it was to work with Shah Rukh). That too, in combination with Raju sir directing you,” he said, speaking about working with director Rajkumar Hirani.
Talking about Shah Rukh, Vicky added, “So I can’t talk about it in detail, but I can tell you this. I understood why he is the Badshah, after working with him. There’s no one like him).”
