Pinkvilla shared a fan’s post which shows a post-credit scene. In the scene, we can see Ranbir Kapoor smeared in blood standing and the words that appear on the screen are ‘’Animal Park’. This has hinted towards its sequel. The entertainment portal further mentions that looks like there is a showdown between Ranbir and his doppelgänger. Adding a twist to the narrative, a relative of Bobby Deol’s antagonist allegedly acquires Ranbir’s visage through plastic surgery, poised to take on the role of the formidable villain in the upcoming installment.
Talking about the Animal Box Office collection on Day 1, as reported by the industry tracker Sacnilk, early estimates suggest that Animal earned Rs 61 crore on its opening day across all languages in India. While it collected Rs 50.50 crore in Hindi belts, the Telugu version of the film also earned Rs 10 crore. With this, Animal has become Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest opener. While Brahmastra Part One: Shiva had earned Rs 36 crore on its opening day, Ranbir’s Sanju had collected Rs 34.75 crore.
Recently, it was also reported that Animal has crossed $1 million in North America. With this, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has become the first Hindi movie in North America to achieve this feat.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. The film marks her first collaboration with Ranbir. Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Tripti Dimri also play key roles in the film.
Showsha’s review of the film reads, “Animal is for brave hearts (brace yourself for a brutal throat-slitting scene). The film is dark, loud and garish but also unapologetic. It has guns blazing with the background score sometimes overpowering the dialogues. But somehow, all of that works. Amid all the grimness and goriness, you will also find yourself cracking up from time to time, thanks to Sandeep’s cheeky approach. Animal might not meet the tall claims made by the makers but it’s an amusing roller coaster ride that will keep you hooked throughout.”
