Yami Gautam, who married Aditya Dhar in 2021, confirmed her pregnancy during the trailer launch of Article 370.
Actress Yami Gautam and filmmaker Aditya Dhar have been blessed with a baby boy. The couple has named him Vedavid. Aditya took to Instagram to share a photo of Lord Krishna affectionately holding a little boy in his arms. The couple revealed that the baby boy was born on Akshay Tritiya.
The statement read, “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible.
As we embark on this beautiful journey of parenthood, we eagerly anticipate the bright future that awaits our son. With every milestone he achieves, we are filled with the hope and belief that he will grow to become a beacon of pride for our entire family as well as our beloved nation.”
Father-to-be Ranveer Singh was one of the first ones to congratulate the couple. He wrote, “Bahut bahut bahut sara pyaar ! God bless.” Yami’s first co-star, Ayushmann Khurrana wrote, “Heartiest congratulations.”
Yami Gautam and Aditya confirmed her pregnancy during the trailer launch of Article 370. “Our baby is on its way,” Aditya said as he interacted with the media. During this event, Yami also shared her experience of filming the movie while expecting her first child with Aditya Dhar.
When asked about the filmmaker Aditya Dhar’s excitement over his first child, Yami had earlier shared with HT that he was very happy and was taking the utmost care of her. Shehad added that Aditya kept asking her about her daily needs, things to eat and other. “He has got Amar Chitra Katha and Ramayana for me. My mom used to read it when she was expecting me and my sister,” Yami had said.

She is set to appear in director Rishab Seth’s upcoming action comedy film Dhoom Dhaam, alongside Pratik Gandhi and Mukul Chadda.
