The hike is fairly minor, but no changes have been made to the motorcycle itself.
Yamaha, which recently launched an updated 2022 FZS line-up, has now hiked prices for its neo-retro motorcycle – the FZ-X. The Rs 2,000 price increase has seen the FZ-X go from costing Rs 1.24 lakh to Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while no changes have been made to the motorcycle itself.
The FZ-X shares most of its underpinnings with the standard FZ line-up of bikes, including its 149cc air-cooled engine. Output figures stand at 12.4hp at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of torque at 6,500rpm – the same as the FZS. Where it differs is in styling and ergonomics, receiving a striking neo-retro look compared to the FZ’s conventional hunky streetfighter design.
We had a chance to ride this unique machine last year, and you can check out our review here. What do you think of the FZ-X’s oddball appearance? Tell us in the comments below.
