Ranbir Kapoor earned his first paycheck of Rs 250 for assisting on Prem Granth.
Neetu Kapoor is one of the most popular veteran actresses today. Her son, Rabir Kapoor is a massive superstar, especially after delivering Animal last year. While Ranbir has always made Neetu proud with his work, the sight of him keeping his first paycheck at her feet made the actress tear up.
Ranbir had previously told Mashable India, “My first paycheck was ₹250 that I got while assisting on Prem Granth. Like a good boy, I went to my mother’s room and I put it on her feet. She looked at it and she started crying. It was one of those filmy moments that I performed.”
Neetu Kapoor is celebrating her 66th birthday with her daughter Riddhima Kapoor amid the Swiss mountains. She is currently on holiday with Riddhima, her husband and her daughter. While Neetu rang in her birthday, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were missing from the vacation. Last year, when the actress celebrated her birthday in Italy, Ranbir had joined the family soiree while Alia couldn’t attend.
This year, in a video shared by Riddhima on her Instagram story, Neetu could be seen joining in as her family sang the birthday song for her. She celebrated with a special dessert and a sparkler. Riddhima also shared a mother-daughter photo with Neetu and wrote, “Just us girls enjoying our bubbly. Love and only love. Happy birthday my mommykins. Riddhima also shared a photo with Neetu and Samaira, capturing “three generations” of Kapoor women.
Neetu Kapoor started her career as a child artist at the age of 8. During that period, she started working in films like Dus Lakh, Do Dooni Chaar and Do Kaliyan. Every film she worked in was a hit. Her song Bachche Mann Ke Sachhe also became quite popular. Her film Do Kaliyan made her popular and fame came at a very early stage in her life. Neetu made her acting comeback last year with Jugjugg Jeeyo opposite Anil Kapoor.
Meanwhile, as for Ranbir Kapoor, after Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s smashing hit, Animal, the actor is shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. He will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
