When Imran Khan Helped A Fan In London With Parallel Parking: 'Door Opens And This Girl Charges Out…' –

Imran Khan was last seen in the 2015 film Katti Batti.

In his recent interview, Imran Khan recollected an interesting fan interaction in London.

Imran Khan is one of those actors who rose to fame after his debut movie in Bollywood. Before his debut as a lead, he had also played the role of a child artist in films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. The actor showcased his potential and was deemed as one of the stars of the new generation. After a series of flops and controversies, the actor took a sabbatical from doing movies. Imran Khan was last seen in the movie Katti Batti in 2015 with Kangana Ranaut. The movie couldn’t do well at the box office. The actor who might be on the cusp of making his comeback recalled an interesting fan interaction in London.

During an interview with Vogue India, Imran Khan recounted an instance from the streets of London, when he was sauntering about and noticed an individual having a hard time with parallel parking. He shared, “I was walking down a street in London and I could see this car going back and forth and back and forth, trying to parallel park. Door opens and this girl charges out,

‘Can you please help me park my car?’ I take the keys from her and as I am getting in, there is another girl in the passenger seat, who gets out.”

He continued, “All of that is happening while I back the car into its spot and I get out and she’s like ‘Thank you. Thank you… are you?’ and I said, ‘yes’ and she goes, ‘oh my God, Oh my God it’s you’.”

Imran Khan opened up about hitting a low in 2016, a year after his last film Katti Batti released and failed at the box office. The film’s failure impacted Imran’s career choices. In a new interview, Imran spoke about how he went into a shell after his films flopped and he began looking at his contemporaries career choices to see where he stands.

Speaking with Vogue India, he said, “When Katti Batti flopped, I wanted to understand some things, so I began working backwards. What had been the biggest hits of the last two or three years? What were the films that had brought my contemporaries success? Do I like those films? Would I have said yes had they been offered to me? The answer was always no. And that clarified something for me. What I actually wanted was for the films I was in to be successful.”

A year after Katti Batti released, Imran said that he hit a low and felt broken inside. “I hit a low in 2016 where I felt broken inside. Luckily, I was working in an industry that had rewarded me financially, so by the time I was 30, I didn’t have to worry about money,” he recalled. “At that point, it wasn’t my career because I wasn’t excited by it enough to want to work hard for it,” he added.

At the time, he had embraced fatherhood and decided to focus on his daughter. “I had recently become a father and thought, ‘This is valuable. This is something I take seriously.’ I wanted to be the best version of myself for Imara. I decided it was no longer my job to be an actor. Now, I had to fix myself; be at my healthiest and strongest for my daughter,” Imran said.

The actor is now planning to make his acting comeback but has not announced a project yet.
