Meta India has been hit by fresh top-level exits with WhatsApp India head Abhijit Bose and Facebook’s public policy director Rajiv Agrawal quitting the firm.
Confirming the development, Meta India said that the key announcements are “completely unrelated to the recent news cycles.”
While Shivnath Thukral has been given additional responsibility as public policy head at Facebook, it is unclear as of now as to who will replace Abhijit.

His entrepreneurial drive helped our team deliver new services that have benefited millions of people and businesses. There is so much more WhatsApp can do for India and we’re excited to continue helping advance India’s digital transformation,” said Will Cathcart, Head of WhatsApp.
