What Amruta Subhash Said About Her Intimate Scenes In Lust Stories 2 –

Renowned actress Amruta Subhash, celebrated for her exceptional performances in Marathi films, shows, and plays, recently shared insights into her portrayal of intimate scenes in Lust Stories 2. While Amruta made a significant impact in Marathi entertainment, her foray into Hindi cinema has been marked by standout roles.

In Lust Stories 2, Amruta Subash delivered a notable performance as she portrayed a character with several intimate scenes. These scenes, integral to the narrative, received critical acclaim and resonated well with the audience. During a Netflix actor’s roundtable, Amruta opened up about her initial apprehensions and how her husband played a crucial role in encouraging her and her co-star to proceed with the challenging scenes.

Admitting her initial fear of the intimate scenes, Amruta shared, “When I read the script, there were a lot of intimate scenes in it, and I was scared of them.” To address her concerns, she requested some time with her co-star Shrikant Yadav, an old friend, before shooting. Shrikant expressed his hesitation, stating, “I can’t shoot this scene with you.”

Amruta disclosed that it was her husband, Sandesh Kulkarni, also an actor and a good friend of Shrikant, who played a pivotal role in convincing them to move forward with the scenes. According to her, Shrikant ultimately agreed, with her husband reassuring them, “You will do this, give it a good shot.”

Despite their decision, Amruta mentioned that her husband faced criticism for supporting both actors in shooting the intimate scene. She acknowledged, “A lot of people were criticising my husband for seeing the message supporting both of us for that scene.”

Lust Stories 2 is part of the Netflix anthology film series, featuring contributions from several distinguished directors. Amruta Subash starred in The Mirror, directed by Konkona Sen Sharma, alongside Tillotama Shome and Shrikant Yadav.
