Akshay Kumar shares BTS video from Welcome 3
Akshay Kumar’s Welcome Back To The Jungle will be helmed by Ahmed Khan, and is slated to release on December 25, 2024.
Akshay Kumar has finally begin the shoot of the much anticipated Welcome 3. The film titled Welcome To The Jungle is third film from the franchise, and will also star Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor. The makers have now begin shooting for the film. Sharing a BTS video from the sets, Akshay wrote, “Absolute madness of masti begins as we start the shoot of #WelcomeToTheJungle. Will need your wishes for this rollercoaster full of all things fun and crazy 🙂 #Welcome3.”

Earlier this year, when the makers dropped the teaser announcement of the film, it took the nation by storm. The actors were seen singing a peppy revised version of the title song of Welcome, but with a twist. Dressed in camo uniforms, the cast grooves with the song and Mika Singh, Daler Mehndi chimes in with ‘Tunak Tunak Tun’. Sharing the promo, Akshay Kumar wrote in the caption, “Khud ko aur aap sab ko ek birthday gift diya hai aaj. If you like it and say thanks, I’d say Welcome(3) #WelcomeToTheJungle In cinemas, Christmas – 20th December, 2024. #Welcome3.”
Of the 3 films under Firoz Nadiadwala’s banner, Welcome might be the first to take off as the script is ready a while back. The filmmaker is planning to bring a spin to the narrative of this comic caper by getting Sanjay Dutt and Arshad to play the notorious gangsters – Majnu and Uday. The duo have already shown their chemistry as Munna and Circuit and now it will be time to explore the dimension in a new franchise,” a source cited by the entertainment portal PinkVilla claimed earlier.
When Arshad Warsi confirmed that he is indeed a part of Welcome 3, he told Hindustan Times in an interview, “The scale of Welcome 3: the cost, the climax, is unreal. It is an insanely larger-than-life theatrical film which I will be a part of. It has me, Akshay Kumar, Sanju (Sanjay Dutt), Paresh Rawal and lots of other people.”
Welcome Back To The Jungle will be helmed by Ahmed Khan, produced by Feroz Nadiadwala, Jyoti Deshpande. It is slated to release during Christmas, on December 25, 2024.
