BTS’s RM has finally dropped the pre-release of his upcoming solo album Right Place, Wrong Person.
The much-awaited pre-release track from RM, the leader of the popular K-pop band BTS, is finally here. The song titled Come Back To Me music video was shared on Friday, May 19, weeks ahead of the album’s release. RM announced his upcoming solo album Right Place Wrong Person a few days ago, further mentioning that a special pre-release track would be dropped in advance. The music video shows the BTS rapper putting his solemn yet vulnerable side on display, struggling through relationships.
BigHit Music, the group’s agency, shared the song on its official X handle, sending fans into a frenzy. As stated by the agency, the song explores RM’s conflicting emotions as he yearns for new challenges while also wanting to cling to old relationships and attachments. “The album falls within the alternative genre, boasting a rich sound coupled with frank, honest lyrics. Your anticipation and support for RM and his second solo album, ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ would be much appreciated. Thank you,” it said during the album announcement.
Directed by Lee Sung Jin, Come Back To Me is an indie pop track composed by Oh Hyuk of the Hyukoh band, with the lyrics written by RM himself. Additionally, Kuo of Sunset Rollercoaster takes part as the guitarist and bassist. Not to forget, the song also features South Korean actress Kim Minha.

Excited by the latest release, fans have taken to social media to share their happiness and curiosity about RM’s creative vision, vocals and amazing visuals. So far, the music video has garnered over 5 million views and the numbers are just increasing. The upcoming album along with the song Come Back To Me is also trending on social media platforms.
Earlier, a teaser of the song was unveiled, giving a mysterious glimpse with RM staring directly into the camera. Several concept pictures were also shared ahead of the song’s release.
While the pre-release track is now out, the upcoming album Right Place, Wrong Person, featuring a total of 11 songs, will be released on May 24, 2024. The album marks the BTS leader’s first release since his debut solo album, Indigo, in December 2022. Currently serving in the South Korean military, RM completed the music videos before his enlistment last year.
