Virat Kohli On Anushka Sharma Tackling Motherhood Amid 2nd Pregnancy Rumours: ‘She Handled…’ –

Amid rumours that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are expecting their second baby, the Indian cricketer opened up about the actress tackling motherhood. The couple welcomed their first baby, daughter Vamika, in January 2021. In a new interview, Virat said that he is in awe of how she has balanced motherhood and her work, noting that she even shot a film after welcoming Vamika.

In an interview with Wrogn, Virat said, “When you see a life partner become a mother that’s when you realise and understand the strength of a mother. The way Anushka handled everything is amazing and astonishing, she shot a whole film in between.” While Virat praised Anushka, he remained tight-lipped about the rumours surrounding their second baby.

For the unversed, a source told Hindustan Times last month that she and Virat are expecting their second baby. “Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage,” a source told HT. Addressing the actress’ lack of public appearances, the source claimed, “This isn’t a coincidence. She is staying away from the public eye to avoid speculation.”

Meanwhile, Virat added that he has learnt several things about life from Anushka. “I have learned from Anushka how to stand by the truth when no one else is willing to believe you or even listen to what you have to say – she always told me you know if you are standing by truth then you don’t have to worry about anything because the path will carve itself out and things will always be clean and separated,” he said.

The couple tied the knot in 2017. Anushka took a break from work in 2018, after the release of Zero. She is set to make her acting comeback with Chakda Xpress. The film is based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Anushka is set to play the titular role.
