Vijay’s Varisu to Have No Romantic Scene or Song? What We Know

For the unversed, this is the second collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay with director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Varisu is expected to hit the theatres on Ayudha Puja next year.

Vikram director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is gearing up for his next with Thalapathy Vijay, will try something new with Varisu. Sources close to the movie suggest that Lokesh is thinking about making it different from all other movies that he has helmed so far in his career. Varisu will not include any punchy dialogues or music tracks, reports say. In fact, a few reports suggest that the film will have no love or romantic scenes.

Recently, a scene from Varisu was leaked online. Later, the producer took stern action and barred the use of cell phones during the shoot. A source from the crew has confirmed that the director and producer will release the Varisu on Ayudha Puja next year. This has led to a wave of happiness as well as curiosity among his fans.

For the unversed, this is the second collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The last time they appeared together was for the blockbuster Master. Trade analysts predict that this collaboration will also turn out to be a super hit.

Though the film is touted to be a gangster drama, Lokesh is tight-lipped about the storyline. Moreover, the crew of the film is also advised to not leak any information. Recently, the additional director of Varisu confirmed that the team is in Mumbai to find a suitable location for the shoot.

Through unconfirmed sources, it has been shared that the movie will have six villains and two heroines. Sanjay Dutt and Prithviraj Kumar have been roped in to play negative roles.

The film will be bankrolled by Seven Screen Studios.
