Vijay’s Leo To Lock Horns With Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari At Box Office –

Vijay will be clashing with another big South star for the second time in 2023.

The trailer for Bhagavanth Kesari, directed by Anil Ravipudi was released recently.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his acclaimed works in films like Kaithi and Vikram, has created quite a buzz with his latest offering, Leo, the third instalment of his cinematic universe. This much-anticipated Tamil film, starring Thalapathy Vijay, is set to hit the big screens in just two days. Thalapathy Vijay’s immense popularity among the Tamil diaspora has elevated Leo to become one of the most eagerly awaited releases in Indian cinema this month. The film’s trailer has garnered enthusiastic feedback, and fans are eagerly counting down the days until October 19, the movie’s release date.

The tremendous hype surrounding Leo has deterred other Tamil productions from clashing with it at the box office. However, the same cannot be said for the South Indian cinema as a whole.

The Telugu film industry will see a direct face-off with Leo as it releases Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari on the same day, October 19. Balakrishna, a highly respected star in the Telugu industry, sets the stage for a colossal clash between two titans in the Indian film market.

This isn’t the first time this year that Balakrishna finds himself in a head-to-head battle with another major star. In January, his film Veera Simha Reddy went up against Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya at the box office. The clash between Leo and Bhagavanth Kesari promises to be an intense showdown between these two Southern powerhouses.

The trailer for Bhagavanth Kesari, directed by Anil Ravipudi, offers a glimpse of Balakrishna in one of his most impactful roles to date. Srileela plays the role of Balakrishna’s daughter in the film, and Arjun Rampal makes his Telugu debut as the movie’s main antagonist. Sahu Ganapathi and Harish Peddy are the film’s producers, and Balakrishna’s portrayal will feature a distinctive salt-and-pepper appearance.

Coincidentally, Vijay will also find himself in a similar scenario, clashing with another prominent South Indian star for the second time this year. In January, his film Varisu went head-to-head with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu at the Tamil box office.
