It has been two months since actor Vijay Raghavendra’s wife, Spandana passed away. She was just 44 years old and died on August 7 due to cardiac arrest while on a Bangkok trip. Her sudden demise left the industry in utter shock. The unfortunate incident left the family shattered, especially her husband, Vijay.
Recently, the Seetharam Benoy Case No. 18 actor on Saturdays shared a photo of himself with his wife and wrote, “Love you Chinna.” Vijay Raghavendra dropped the photo of him sitting beside his wife, Spandana, all decked up. He wore a black suit, while his wife can be seen dressed in a traditional outfit and smiling at the camera. His caption when translated to English read, “Even after months, the smile inside the heart does not fade. I love you Chinna.”
Many fans in the comments section attempted to console the actor with their positive words. A user wrote, “Stay strong brother.! Even if she is not with you, the love is forever.” Another user commented, “True love never ends.” A third user wrote, “She will always be in your heart.”
After the demise of his wife, the actor resumed his work after some days. Vijay Raghavendra was busy promoting his movie, Kaddha Chitra, which hit the theatres on September 8. At one of the events, he recalled how he used to consult his wife for everything and felt an “emptiness”. He said, “An emptiness has engulfed me. Dealing with this now is my next biggest challenge. I am completely blank. I don’t know how to live with this emptiness.” He remembered her fond memories when the couple used to enjoy discussions with each other.
In an interview with NewsFirst, Vijay Raghavendra revealed that he was with his wife when she breathed her last. Reportedly, the actor realised that his wife was slipping away while he tried to wake her up to check her out of the hotel. He added that he went blank when she did not respond and had a low pulse. He could not move for a few seconds but regained his composure and immediately rushed her to the hospital.
