Angry Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna fans slam the makers of Hi Nanna for using the rumoured to couple’s photos at their film’s event for ‘publicity’.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s fans were in for a shock when an event for the Telugu film titled Hi Nanna showed the rumoured couple’s pictures. On Thursday, a promotional event for Hi Nanna took place in Hyderabad. The event was attended by the lead cast, Nani and Mrunal Thakur. During the event, the screen suddenly displayed Vijay and Rashmika’s photos from the Maldives.
The photos that were displayed on the big screen were shared by Vijay and Rashmika on their respective social media handles. When the photos were shared, fans believed that Vijay and Rashmika had holidayed together but they had not mentioned it on their respective social media handles.
On Thursday, the photos appeared on the big screen and it left everyone stunned. The host, Anchor Suma, appeared to be unaware of the photos while Mrunal was embarrassed by the display. The turn of events did not go down well with the fans of the rumoured couple. Manu took to X, previously known as Twitter, to call out the organisers.
“What a promotional stunt by Team #HiNanna defaming other actors. Shameless @VyraEnts. And these actors should have some common sense, they just laughing. And Suma is one of the worst Anchors,” a post read. “#HiNannaPreReleaseEvent : Ntg , just used the fame of #VijayDeverakonda #RashmikaMandanna to promote their film @VyraEnts is this the way u portray a film to the audience , is this the real value ? Pls stop inviting Anchor Suma ” added another.
Vijay is currently working on a film with Mrunal. The actors will be seen in Family Star. The film is currently being filmed in Hyderabad. The duo had revealed they shot the film through Diwali as well this year. They also shared photos together from the sets to wish fans on Diwali. It is rumoured that Rashmika will be seen in a speical dance number.
