In a recent interview too, The Family Star actor was asked about his “romantic relationships” when he decided not to address dating rumours with Rashmika and rather said that he is in a relationship with his parents and brother.
“Is Vijay Deverakonda in a relationship?” the actor was asked in an interview with Galatta Plus. To this, the actor answered, “Yes, with my parents, with my brother, with you, and we all are in a relationship.”
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are rumoured to be dating each other for a long time now. Recently, Rashmika was allegedly seen donning Vijay’s cap in one of her Instagram posts. Prior to this, the rumoured couple’s trip to the Maldives fuelled speculation about a possible marriage announcement. It was also said that Vijay and Rashmika would get exchanged soon.
However, the Liger actor later clarified that he was neither getting engaged nor getting married. “I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press just wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married,” Vijay said while speaking to Lifestyle Asia.
It should also be noted that neither Rashmika nor Vijay have ever accepted or denied their relationship in public. The two have worked together in two films – Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019).
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is currently gearing up for the release of The Family Star which also stars Mrunal Thakur.
