Actor Abhinav Shukla criticised Vidyut for starting a fire next to a tree to cook his meal and thereby endangering the environment.

Vidyut Jammwal took the internet by storm as he posted a series of pictures from his Himalayan retreat on his birthday. The photographs show him swimming in the river and cooking over an open fire near a tree. The backdrop looked peaceful, and the actor seemed to enjoy the serenity amid the lush green habitat and clear stream. However, not everyone has taken his retreat to the mountains positively. Actor Abhinav Shukla criticised Vidyut for starting a fire next to a tree to cook his meal and thereby endangering the environment.

Vidyut Jammwal posted a slew of pictures on his X handle with a caption, “My retreat to the Himalayan ranges – ‘the abode of the divine’ started 14 years ago. Before I realised, it became an integral part of my life to spend 7-10 days alone- every year.” He posted several nude pictures of himself that flaunted his well toned body. The actor mentioned that venturing into the wild away from his luxurious life has given him the opportunity to find his solitude and himself. However, one of the images shows the actor starting a fire extremely close to a real tree to cook his meal. The fire seemed to blaze vehemently and could burn the fully grown tree down. This action of his came under the scanner from actor Abhinav Shukla.

Actor Abhinav Shukla criticised Vidyut for starting a fire next to a tree to cook his meal and thereby endangering the environment.

Abhinav reacted to a paparazzi post highlighting Vidyut’s Himalayan birthday celebration and wrote, “Good connection with nature, what to eat and wear is purely a personal choice! But setting up fire next to a live tree, burning it along is not nature friendly and against camping/ outdoor ethics (until survival requires it). That stone stove looks pretty inefficient; Dakota fire would have been great if you had the luxury of 6-7 days! I feel bushcraft should be taught in schools!” Many users agreed with Abhinav and said, “Exactly he should also focus on preservation and sustainability of nature.”

Meanwhile, Crakk, starring Vidyut Jammwal, Nora Fatehi, Arjun Rampal, and Amy Jackson, will be released on February 23, 2024. The film is written and directed by Aditya Datt, and the announcement was made on the occasion of Vidyut’s birthday. Reportedly, Crakk follows the journey of Vidyut’s character from the slums of Mumbai to the heart-pounding world of extreme underground sports, where he will be seen in an entirely new form, performing daredevil stunts that will leave audiences enthralled to the screens.
