Vicky Kaushal took the internet by storm with his brand new look in a long beard.
Vicky Kaushal is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sam Bahadur. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, emphasising his sacrifices for the nation. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 1 this year. Vicky Kaushal is leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. Amid his packed schedule, the actor was spotted in Mumbai, just a day after he attended the ICC World Cup Semi Finals between India and New Zealand.
In a video that was shared by popular paparazzo handle Viral Bhayani on Thursday, it captured Vicky Kaushal stepping outside of his car and posing for the shutterbugs, while sporting a dapper blue denim jeans and black full sleeves T-shirt. However, it was his full beard look that captured the netizens attention. Vicky interacted with the paps by waving at them before heading inside the cafe premises.

Needless to say, netizens couldn’t help themselves from swooning all over the Masaan actor in his new persona. One of them wrote, “wat a sizzling look of Vicky Kaushalloved it.” Another one commented, “Hottie ❤️.” Someone else said, “Ufff hottieee .” A fan also stated, “He looks like a villain…but looking totally different ❤️.”
Recently, Vicky met with the 6 Sikh Regiment of the Indian Army and answered their questions. One of the jawans asked Vicky who his favourite actress was beside his wife Katrina Kaif. Vicky had a hilarious reply to this question. He said in Punjabi, “Paaji, ek jawab ke chakkar main ghar pe kalesh nahi karaunga. Mujhe aur koi actress dikhti hi nahi hai. Ek hi hai. Mera mission bhi bilkul army ki tarah hi hai, jo mission hai phir vahi hai (I will not risk getting into a fight at home because of an answer. I can’t see any other actresses, there is only one. Like the army, I also focus on my mission).”
Vicky continued, “Male actors main jiski baat karni hai karlo (You can talk about any male actor you want).” He was then asked who his favourite male actor was. Vicky said, “Male actor, Bachchan sahab toh hamesha, mera sapna bhi hai ki kabhi unke saath kaam karne ka mauka mile (Amitabh Bachchan, always. It is also my dream to work with him).”
Sam Bahadur is one of Vicky Kaushal’s most-talked-about projects. For the unversed, Sam Manekshawan’s career in the army spanned over four decades and five wars. He was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and his military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war led to the creation of Bangladesh.
Sam Bahadur also stars Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick (as Lord Mountbatten), Richard Bhakti Klein (as Ambassador Keating), Saqib Ayub (Captain Attiqur Rahman) and Krishna Kant Singh Bundela (as Subedar Gurbaksh Singh) in key roles. It is set to hit theatres on December 1.
