Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are undoubtedly one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. They are each other’s biggest cheerleaders and have come a long way since their marriage. Recently, Vicky opened up on how Katrina plays a big role in choosing his scripts and also went on to call her biggest as well as a brutal critic.

In an interview with India Today, Vicky shared, “Katrina is my biggest critic, she is the most brutal critic. My parents also tell me the truth about what was good or bad, but they will still come with a soft line first, like ‘Dekh yaar, yeh sab achcha tha par…'”

He further added, “But my wife is straight. Katrina is a straight bullet. If it is good, even then she is straight and if she doesn’t like anything, then also she will be upfront about it,” added the proud husband, who admitted that it is his wife who keeps him grounded.

Vicky also opened up on ‘casually’ discussing his scripts with Katrina Kaif. The Sardar Udham actor shared, “We discuss, but not very seriously. We discuss scripts casually, or else we will discuss how the shoot was. We talk about work only in that way. We don’t make our house like an office by discussing too much work.”

Earlier in a conversation on We Are Yuvaa Be A Man Yaar episode, Vicky had revealed that he initially couldn’t believe that a superstar like Katrina was giving attention to him,

“I had trouble coming to terms with that reality that I can,” he told host Nikhil Taneja. “Those factors were never the reason why I fell in love with Katrina. When I got to know the human side of her, I fell in love with her. When I got to know her, I was fully in love with her, and I knew that I would want to have her as my life companion. Nothing else matters. First, I used to feel odd getting attention from her. I used to be like ‘Heh? Are you okay?’ Not that I wasn’t giving a lot of attention, it was mutual. For me also, being from the outside and not knowing her as a human being, she was a phenomenon. She still is. It’s just that the human side also added.”
