During the trailer launch event recently, Vicky Kaushal recalled Indian army officers ‘scaring’ him during the Sam Bahadur shoot. “Mere liye sabse badi validation hoti hai when the army approves of my film and my performance when I wear my uniform. We have given it our all. With every minute detail, whether it’s a ribbon or a medal, I don’t think there’s any mistake at all. I used to meet the Indian Army and they were very encouraging and used to say that we are so happy that you’re doing this film. End main phir dara dete the, ‘Theek se karna, (Make sure you do it well), you’re playing our best man’,” he said.
