Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for his next release Sam Bahadur. The film, which will be releasing on December 1, is now getting ready for trailer release soon. Well, today Vicky was seen promoting his film during a live presentation of the India vs South Africa match. The actor’s enthusiastic cheering for Team India during the event caught the attention of fans, generating excitement about both the cricket match and the highly anticipated film. He even shared the photo on his Instagram stories.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Vicky Kaushal can be seen enthusiastically cheering for the Indian team. He has written, “This was fun.” Recently, the actor also shared a new poster from the film. In the new poster, the actor was seen dressed in Sam Manekshawan’s avatar. He sported a uniform and also kept a stern expression on his face. In the caption of his post, Vicky wrote, “SAM IS HERE!!! On 1.12.2023. One month to go!”

Take a look here:

Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. His career in the army spanned over four decades and five wars. He was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and his military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war led to the creation of Bangladesh.

Sam Bahadur will hit theatres on December 1. This means that the film will clash at the box office with Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal. During the teaser launch of the movie last month, Vicky opened up about the box office clash and said, “We, as an industry, should give the option of multiple films on the same day to the audience. That’s how we will flourish as an industry. We have those many weeks in a year, but as an industry, we cannot limit ourselves to making those many films in a year. We will have to make multiple films and we will have multiple releases on the same day.”
