Delhi: Vehicle proprietors not having a valid Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) for their vehicles might confront suspension of enrollment endorsement, authorities said on Tuesday.
The Delhi Transport Office is giving notification to proprietors whose vehicles don’t have a substantial PUCC, cautioning that in case they don’t get the endorsement in the span of seven days, their enlistment testaments might be suspended.

There are around 19 lakh vehicles that don’t have a legitimate PUC. SMSes are being shipped off vehicle proprietors advance notice them that their enrollment testaments might be suspended if they don’t get a substantial PUCC in the span of seven days, said a top vehicle division official.

Vehicles are intermittently tried for their outflow norms for different poisons like carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) after which they are given PUC testaments.

Vehicle proprietors in the public capital will currently need to deliver substantial contamination taken care of testaments to get fuel at filling stations from October 25, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai had recently reported.

The charge for pollution checking in case of petroleum and CNG-driven two and three-wheelers is Rs 60. It is Rs 80 for four-wheelers (petroleum) and Rs 100 for diesel-run four-wheelers.

There are more than 900 pollution checking centres approved by the vehicle office in Delhi. These are set up at petroleum siphons and studios spread all around the city so drivers can make it happen without any problem.
