The upcoming bike could bear the name Apache RTX.
The naked TVS Apache RR 310 has been spied testing a couple of times now and this is unusual for TVS who usually keeps its upcoming products under tight wraps. Nevertheless, on the rare occasion that a TVS vehicle is spied testing, it usually happens soon before the launch. TVS has now sent out an invite for a new vehicle launch on September 6, and it is quite likely to be the naked RR 310.
From what we have seen so far in spy shots, it is evident that the naked TVS Apache RR 310 will have very different styling from the BMW G 310 R. The bike has a sharp tail that reminds us of the KTM 1290 Super Duke. The tail section has a clean design with a large tyre hugger holding the number plate and indicators.
The bike’s exhaust is very similar to the current RR 310, which suggests that the engine will be very similar. This liquid-cooled 312cc single-cylinder engine makes 34hp and 27.3Nm in the RR 310.Â
What also remains a mystery at the moment is the final name. TVS did recently trademark the name Apache RTX and that might be used on this upcoming bike. Nevertheless, all will be revealed in less than a month.
