The world celebrates Women’s Day on March 8. Ahead of the same, Tamannaah Bhatia had a bold message for her female fans. She urged them to embrace their strength and to keep challenging societal norms. The actor further emphasised on the importance of realising one’s worth.
Tamannaah Bhatia told Showsha, “On this Women’s Day, let’s celebrate the strength, resilience, and brilliance of every woman. Embrace your strength, challenge societal norms, and let your voice be heard. True empowerment begins when we recognize our worth and support each other’s journey towards equality.”
This year, the theme is “For All Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment”, calling for swifter measures to bridge gender parity.
Meanwhile, 2024 was a rather successful year for Tamannaah. She had once spoken about her zeal to keep working, “It was a very strong urge to do what I am doing today. While I was doing theatre and some kind of work initially, the performing arts also brought a kind of joy to me. Even though sometimes the timings have been crazy, it never felt like work to me. Strangely, people keep asking me what I do for pleasure, but for me, work only has been my pleasure, and I never seek pleasure anywhere else.”
On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen in the crime drama, Sikandar Ka Muqaddar. Helmed by Neeraj Pandey, the Netflix series also stars Avinash Tiwary, Jimmy Shergill, Rajiv Mehta, Divya Dutta and Zoya Afroz in pivotal roles. She was also a part of Aranmalai 4 and Vedaa in 2024. Apart from this, Tamannaah left her fans stunned with her flawless performance in Stree 2 song, Aaj Ki Raat. This year, she will be seen in Telugu film Odela 2. Dressed in a Naga Sadhu avatar, the actor was seen fighting sinister energy as the protector of her village in the film’s recently-released teaser. It was launched at the Maha Kumbh Mela.
