Trisha Krishnan On Filming Leo With ‘Home’ Thalapathy Vijay After 15 Years: ‘The Same Love…’ –

Vijay and Trisha were last seen in the 2008 release, Kuruvi.

At the event held to celebrate Leo, Trisha spoke about working with Thalapathy Vijay again after 15 years.

Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagraj’s third film in his LCU, Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead was released recently amid much anticipation. The film also featured Trisha Krishnan in a prominent role. Fans were eagerly waiting to see Trisha and Vijay reunite on the screen after 2008. Leo marked their collaboration after a 15-year gap. Recently, an event was held to celebrate Leo’s success at the box office. At the event, Trisha spoke about working with Vijay again.

Trisha looked stunning in a red saree for Leo’s success event. She addressed Lokesh and Vijay and recalled what it was like to work with them on the sets of Leo. She also spoke about working with Gautham Menon in front of the camera, instead of him being in the director’s seat.

The gorgeous actress said, “I am hugely honoured to be part of your (Lokesh Kanagaraj) magic called LCU. Vijay… It was like meeting a school friend again after a long time. There was the same comfort, love and friendship. In my 20-year career, the most long-term journey I had with a co-star was with Vijay.”

“They say home is not a place, but it is a person. Leo’s set was like that… I used to tell Lokesh, ‘It doesn’t feel work we all working much.’ But we were. It felt like a vacation,” the actress added.

Addressing Gautham Menon, who played Joshi in Leo, the actress said, “We both go a long way. And I never thought I would be sharing screen space with you.” Gautham directed Trisha in the blockbuster film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. She added, “On behalf of team Leo, I would want to say this: Silence and success are the best revenge. Take a bow.”

The action-thriller film was released on October 19. The film quickly became one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of all time. The cast also featured Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mysskin, Madonna Sebastian, George Maryan, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand and Mathew Thomas in key roles.
