Triptii Dimri’s chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal is being widely loved by all.

Triptii Dimri has become a national sensation ever since the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal. Her chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor in the movie is being widely loved by all. Amid all this, an old video of the actress has surfaced on social media in which she can be seen praising Ranbir Kapoor and expressing her desire to work with the actor.

“Ranbir Kapoor ji sunkar mujhe kuch kuch hota hai, bahut kuch hota hai (laughs). Ranbir Kapoor mujhe bahut acche lagte. Mujhe laga hai unse mujhe kaafi kuch seekhne ko milega. Voh bahut hi versatile hai as an actor. (I really like Ranbir Kapoor. I feel I will get to learn a lot from him. He is a versatile actor),” Triptii said in the viral video. Watch it here:

Triptii Dimri played the role of Zoya in Animal. Released on December 1, the film revolves around a man and his toxic relationship with his father. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it shows Vijay (played by Ranbir) as an anti-hero who would go to any lengths to protect his father, including gun down 200 people with machine gun. However, despite his efforts, he struggles to get a seal of approval from his emotionally unavailable father (played by Anil Kapoor). His unhealthy relationship with his father impacts his relationship with his wife (played by Rashmika Mandanna).

Animal has been accused of glorifying misogyny and toxic masculinity by several social media users. In a recent interview, Triptii talked about the Animal scene in which Ranbir Kapoor’s character Vijay Singh asked her to lick his shoe to prove that she truly loved him. “The characters you are playing, the character your co-actor is playing, all are human and humans have good and bad side. An actor must be prepared to play characters across the spectrum of good, bad and ugly, but if you judge a character’s motivations, thoughts, you won’t be able to play it with honesty. So that’s what I kept in mind,” she told Indian Express.

However, despite everything, the film is going immensely well at the box office. It has already crossed Rs 400 crore mark at the Indian box office.
