Travis Kelce Talks About His ‘Love Story’ With Taylor Swift –

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s alleged romance has become the talk of the town. Although the singer and the NFL star are yet to confirm their relationship status, speculations are rife that things are getting serious between them. During her Eras Tour concert at the Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce left us gushing with their adorable PDA, post the concert. Now, in an interview with Pulitzer-winning author JR Moehringer, the Kansas City Chiefs walked down memory lane and shared how his “love story” with the singing sensation began. Travis was shooting for WSJ Magazine’s December/January issue.

Travis Kelce, who had so far been tight-lipped about his equation with Taylor Swift confessed that he was unsure of opening up about the same in the interview. The NFL star reflected on the time when he wanted to ask Taylor out on a date during her Eras Tour concert in July at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. According to Entertainment Tonight, although he wished to give the Anti-Hero singer his phone numbers, his attempt was unsuccessful. Not giving up, Travis issued a public invitation asking Taylor to join him at one of his football games. And in September, Taylor’s presence at one of his football games hinted that she was ready to date the footballer.

Travis Kelce added that someone from Taylor Swift’s family played Cupid between them, which he got to know from Taylor herself later on. “She told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out,” he continued. Travis and Taylor’s Cupid were none other than the singer’s cousins who were also fans of the two-time Super Bowl champion, reported Entertainment Tonight. “When she came to Arrowhead, they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins were taking pictures… in front of my locker,” said Travis, after joking that Taylor would kill him for sharing the information.

Speaking about why he was deliberately so guarded about his relationship with Taylor Swift, Travel Kelce admitted that he did not want to “say anything that would push Taylor away.” “Obviously I’ve never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them… I’ve never dealt with it. But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it,” said a confident Travis quite fondly.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are planning to spend the entire holiday season together.
