Travelers using Yamuna expressway will have to pay higher toll tax: From September 1

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has climbed the toll costs on the Yamuna Expressway, making it more costly to venture out from Greater Noida to Agra. The activity was taken following the finish of the 74th executive meeting of the YEIDA, the administering body responsible for supervising the 165 km long turnpike’s territory the board.

As per proposals from the IIT Delhi Road Safety review, Rs 130.54 crore have been spent on work on the freeway, as indicated by an explanation from the YEIDA.


The Yamuna Authority had supported the proposition of Jaypee Infratech to build the toll in the executive gathering. Presently an extra sum will be paid for various business vehicles.

  1. Toll rate for vehicle, Jeep, van, and light engine vehicle (LMV):
    The new rate has expanded from Rs 2.50 per kilometer to Rs 2.65 per kilometer for travelers going in vehicles, jeeps, vans, and other light engine vehicles (LMV).
  2. Toll rate for Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV):
    The new expense has been raised for light business vehicles, light merchandise vehicles, and minibusses from Rs 3.90 per kilometer to Rs 4.15 per kilometer.
  3. Toll rate for transport and trucks:
    The YEIDA expanded the transport and truck toll costs from Rs. 7.90 to Rs. 8.45 per kilometer. The cost for vehicles with three to six axles expanded from Rs 12.05 per kilometer to Rs 12.90 per kilometer as per the new taxes. The toll rate has expanded for enormous and bigger trucks from Rs 15.55 per kilometer to Rs 18.80 per kilometer.
