The BYD e6’s is among the highest in the mass-market EV segment, and can compensate for the Innova diesel’s efficiency.
I’m looking to replace my 2007 Toyota Innova that’s driven 2.50 lakh kilometres, and recently, I read on your website that Toyota isn’t accepting bookings for the Innova Crysta diesel. Should I consider the BYD E6?

Autocar India says: The BYD E6 MPV is a spacious and practical 5-seater with excellent battery range of around 400-500km. It has also got a cavernous 580-litre boot. So, if low running costs and practicality are your priorities, the BYD E6 might work for you. Do keep in mind that for a car at this price, it misses several feel-good features, the company’s support network is scant, and because the vehicle is too new in India, its long-term reliability remains to be seen. Alternatively, you could wait for the Toyota Innova Hycross that’s likely to be unveiled in November this year
