Flex-fuel powered Toyota will be a pilot project for India. Speaking at the 62nd Automobile Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) Annual Session, Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari reinforced his faith in alternative fuels and asked the industry to consider flex-fuel technology.
The ministers call for flex fuel vehicles isn’t new however the big news is the imminent arrival of a flex-fuel capable car with the Minister announcing that “On the 28th of this month I am going to launch the Toyota flex-engine car in Delhi” He however did not specify which model this is.
