Disney+ Hotstar is set to add to its Marvel Studios library with the all-new season of Marvel Studios’ Loki.

Taking viewers on an unforgettable journey with the God of Mischief, Disney+ Hotstar brings an exciting addition to its Marvel Studios library with the all-new season of Marvel Studios’ Loki. After the success of the first season, executive producer Kevin R. Wright once again revives fan-favourite character Loki, portrayed by beloved star Tom Hiddleston. The highly-anticipated Original live-action series is directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw, and Kasra Farahani. The second season of Loki, premiering exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar on October 6, will delve into the aftermath of the shocking season 1 finale, with Loki embroiled in a struggle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority (TVA). Also joining the cast are Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilso as they reprise their roles in the cult show. Stream Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2 in Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu, with new episodes each week.

Talking about the series and the characters, Actor and Executive Producer Tom Hiddleston said, “It’s massive, and it’s breaking and that happened when Sylvie killed He Who Remains.”

Disney+ Hotstar recently unveiled a recap video of Season 1, where Loki, Agent Mobius lock horns with the TVA to go on a journey of suspense and secrets regarding variants and the flow of time in the Multiverse. Tom Hiddleston talking about the role of the TVA in the new season, said, “The TVA would call themselves the kind of benevolent gardeners of the timeline, pruning branches that weren’t supposed to be there and keeping the timeline, the sacred timeline tidy, but now everybody who works at the TVA understands that they were actually kidnapped from the timeline and that they too—Mobius, B-15, Renslayer, Hunter D-90—know they were all variants and that they all had lives on the timeline,”

He also added, “It’s a sense of awakening. The TVA is in a process, quite similar to the process Loki went through in Season 1, which is a process of soul searching and a kind of an institutional analysis of what the TVA is for.”

Kevin R. Wright, serves as an executive producer alongside Kevin Feige, Stephen Broussard, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Tom Hiddleston, Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Eric Martin, and Michael Waldron with Trevor Waterson as Co-Executive Producer. The series is written by Eric Martin acting as Head Writer and also features Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, with Jonathan Majors, and Ke Huy Quan in pivotal roles.
