Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has supported a climb in the dearness remittance for government workers from 27.25 percent to 31 percent of their fundamental compensation.
The climb would now add 1,282.72 crores to the government’s use. The application interaction for the new DA climb will start on July 1. Karnataka’s choice to climb 31% DA came a couple of days after the union government climbed DA for central government workers at a 4 percent rate.
