Nina Dobrev took to Instagram and updated her fans about her recent bike accident, as she got hospitalised with injuries.
Nina Dobrev is currently on her road to recovery after getting into a severe motorbike accident. The Vampire Diaries star got herself seriously injured after trying to ride an electric bike. Sharing an update on Instagram, Nina dropped pictures from her hospital bed with braces on her neck, hand, and leg. While the first picture shows the actress right before riding on the electric bike, the second one features her lying on the bed. “how it started vs how it’s going,” she wrote.
In other updates on her Instagram stories, Nina shared another picture of herself sitting on her hospital bed, further assuring that she is okay. “I’m ok but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead,” she wrote.
Nina also vowed to never ride on the “dirt bike” again in her life. However, she didn’t share how the accident unfolded or if she had any major injuries to her body. As soon as the news surfaced, fans took to her comment section, wishing for her speedy recovery. Many even joked that she is no longer a ‘vampire’ from her popular supernatural show.
Her friends and close ones also reacted to the post, sending their own messages to the actress.
“Nooooo! You poor babe,” Sophia Bush wrote, while Julianne Hough noted, “That’s my girl! Obviously wouldn’t make jokes if you were not ok…” Twilight actress Ashley Greene remarked, “Always going big…heal fast.” Nina’s Vampire Diaries co-star Kayla Ewell also commented on the post and wrote, “Nina making the hospital gown the new spring trend. Love you! Handling it like a champ!”
Nina’s boyfriend, Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, left a comment and wrote, “Just keeping things on brand.”
Notably, the two started dating in 2020 and made it public, two years later at the London premiere of Top Gun: Maverick.
