Despite being part of the same Volkswagen Group, does one SUV offer a better resale value than the other?
Is the Volkswagen Taigun better than the Skoda Kushaq? My priority is value for money and resale value. Also, is it advisable to buy a November 2022 model of the Kushaq in March 2023?

Autocar India says: Although they are part of the same family – Volkswagen Group – the Skoda brand commands a better recall as well as resale value in the Indian market because of the legacy created by cars like the Octavia and Superb, which have done exceedingly well.
When it comes to buying a new car, it must not be more than three months old in terms of its manufacturing date, as unsold cars are usually exposed to the elements. A vehicle’s rubber parts, particularly the tyres and wiper blades, could end up degenerating when exposed to such harsh conditions for a prolonged period of time without care.
While there would be a marginal price increase of around 1-2 percent, we would recommend buying a recently manufactured car, which is produced between January and March 2023.
