Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar are all set to leave you all stunned with their performance in an upcoming film The Lady Killer. The makers have finally released the trailer. Fans were waiting for it. Directed by Ajay Bahl, the thriller will be released on November 3. Well, the trailer has already kept the audience on the edge of their seats as it offers a whirlwind of romance, adultery, and murder.
The trailer narrates the tale of a small-town playboy who falls for a dangerous and destructive woman, and together, they embark on a journey. The trailer opens with Arjun arriving at the doorstep of a royal bungalow to meet the former Maharaja. Bhumi greets him at the door, and their passionate romance starts. As the video moves forward, Bhumi’s true identity is unveiled to Arjun. The trailer also hints at a murder. It will be interesting to see what is the exact storyline is.

Arjun Kapoor talking about the film to PTI said, “Lady Killer is something else. I have given a lot to that film. Mentally and emotionally, the film has been intense and raw for Bhumi and I. It is very real in that sense as a love story. That’s why I went on holiday after that. I shot for about 45 days for that film and went away on a break. I needed to get out of that space.”
In an interview with Telly Chakkar, Ajay Bahl said, “It’s been completely wonderful. It looks cliché when you praise your actors because of course you can’t say bad things about them. But, I am going to say from the bottom of my heart that it’s been a pleasure working with both of them. These new-age actors are super committed because they are focused and they give it their all. They are more mature, especially Arjun; he has turned over a new leaf in his life in terms of his performance.”
Bhumi was last seen in Anubhav Sinha’s socio-political thriller, Bheed which also starred Rajkummar Rao in the lead. Arjun Kapoor on the other hand was last seen in Kuttey which also starred Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, and Konkona Sensharma.
