Tech Mahindra to add 1,000 jobs in the UK with new revenue streams

Mumbai : Tech Mahindra said it is looking to create new revenue streams and add as many as 1,000 jobs in the UK.

The Information Technology firm will collaborate with an academia and research institute in the UK to co-innovate at Tech Mahindra’s Makers Lab – a research and development hub in Milton Keynes.

This is on the back of the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcements regarding new UK-India collaboration on Artificial Intelligence (AI) made during his visit to India.

Johnson said, “Trade and investment between the UK and India are creating good jobs and sustaining livelihoods in both of our countries..”

CP Gurnani, managing director and chief operating officer, Tech Mahindra, said, “Tech Mahindra aims to bring out the best of solutions powered by next-gen technologies for industries to solve specific challenges. We are also committed to investing in the local communities we operate in, and initiatives like these help increase the employability of future technologists in the UK as well as globally.”
