Unni Mukundan’s upcoming film, Khadhikan has been making headlines for a long time. Viewers were eagerly waiting for more updates on the film. Meanwhile, recently, the makers surprised the audience and dropped the official teaser for Khadhikan. The film features Unni Mukundan in the lead role, along with Mukesh, Ketaki Narayan, Sabitha Jayaraj, Krishnanand and Manoj Govindan in the supporting roles. The teaser was released on November 3 and is currently garnering everyone’s attention.
The 1-minute, 14-second teaser has till now garnered 18,604 views on YouTube. The viewers have also shared their feedback in the comments section. One of the users wrote, “Jayaraj deserves more credit than is due. Just look at how many classics he has made.” Another one said, “The trailer looks promising. Congratulations.”
The story, screenplay and direction of Khadhikan have been done by Jayaraj. It has been produced jointly by Dr Manoj Govind and Jayaraj. The music for the movie is given by Sanjoy Chowdhury, and the editing and camera are done by Vipin Vishwakarma and Jayaprakash respectively. The movie is all set to hit theatres on December 1.
Apart from Khadhikan, Unni Mukundan has also started shooting for director Ranjith Sankar’s upcoming film, Jai Ganesh. According to reports, this upcoming movie marks the first collaboration between the actor and director Ranjith Sankar. The film is produced jointly by Dreams N Beyond and Unni Mukundan Films.
Additionally, reports suggest that Unni is also set to work with director Vinayan on a sequel to the blockbuster fantasy film Athbhutha Dweepu.
Unni Mukundan started his acting journey in 2011 with the Tamil movie Seedan. It was a remake of the Malayalam film Nandanam. He entered the Malayalam cinema industry with Bombay on March 12 of the same year. In the film, he shared the screen space with Mammootty. He received immense appreciation for his exceptional performance. But he got his breakthrough after appearing in the 2012 film Mallu Singh, directed by Vyshakh. In the movie, he starred alongside Kunchacko Boban.
