Former NFL star Brandon Marshall claimed in his podcast that Taylor Swift allegedly “kicked out” rapper Kanye West from his seat at the Super Bowl LVIII after he purposefully booked tickets right in front of Swift’s private suit to “leverage” Swift’s celebrity status.
Former NFL star Brandon Marshall has claimed that Taylor Swift ‘kicked out’ rapper Kanye West from his seat at the Super Bowl LVIII. The match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers was held at Allegiant Stadium, Los Angeles on February 11. Taylor Swift, who has been dating City Chiefs player Travis Kelce for months now, cheered for her beau from the star-studded private suit. She was accompanied by her mother, close friend and actress Blake Lively, and rapper Ice Spice. In a statement, Brandon Marshall stated that since Kanye West was seated right in front of Taylor Swift’s suite, she decided to simply remove him.
Brandon Marshall was in attendance at the Super Bowl match, where reigning champions Kansas City Chiefs once again emerged victorious. He was seated with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in a shared suit, reported Page Six. A day after the football match, Marshall in his Paper Route podcast claimed that Kanye West supposedly booked tickets right in front of Taylor Swift so that every time the camera panned towards Swift to capture her reaction, his face would be there too. He alleged that West was trying to ‘leverage’ Swift’s celebrity status to ‘make money’ whenever Swift’s face was captured on camera.

The claims made by Brandon Marshall however came with zero evidence, especially because the ex-NFL star could not even correctly recognise Taylor Swift’s name. He confused her with singer Katy Perry. In his podcast, Marshall cited, “Kanye West buys a ticket right in front of Taylor Swift’s booth so anytime they are gonna be showing Taylor Swift, Kanye’s face was going to be there — he had a mask on with his logo. So Taylor Swift gets pissed off, she makes a call or two — everybody is involved — he gets kicked out the stadium.”
Although Brandon Marshall made the shocking allegations against Taylor Swift, Kayne West and his wife Bianca Censori were clicked sitting in the stands, far away from Swift’s suit. Rubbishing the remarks, a representative of West informed TMZ, “This is a completely fabricated rumor. It is not true.”
Taylor Swift and Kayne West’s feud kickstarted in 2009 at the VMAs when West interrupted her acceptance speech for Best Video by a Female Artist. Later on, he apologised to the Anti-Hero singer. But at the Saturday Night Live show hosted by Swift, the singer took a dig at West with her viral SNL monologue.
