Easy manoeuvrability, practicality and good range is what you should be looking for in a small electric car.
I want to buy a small electric car for my wife that will primarily be used for errands within the city for 100-150km per week. I have already booked the Tata Tiago EV, which is likely to be delivered soon. Is it a good buy or should I wait for any other upcoming small EVs?

Autocar India says: The Tata Tiago EV is a very likeable electric car, which, for the price, is an attractive proposition. The electric powertrain is smooth, it feels adequately peppy in the city, and owing to its small footprint, light steering and parking aids, it’ll be very easy to manoeuvre and squeeze into tight parking spots. In our tests, we achieved a range of 193km, so it is pretty practical too.
The Citroen eC3 is another electric that’s likely to launch in February 2023. It is stylish and cheerful, but we expect it to be priced higher than the Tiago EV. Hence it might not offer as good value. So, we’d suggest, please go ahead and get the Tata Tiago EV.
