Tata Motors, who plans to unveil 10 new EVs by 2026, has registered the names Styzor, Bovita, Auroar and Xiomara.
Just weeks after the Curvv and Avinya concepts were unveiled, Tata Motors’ passenger vehicle division has trademarked four new names – Styzor, Bovita, Auroar and Xiomara for their upcoming vehicles.

Could these be names of upcoming EVs?
As we’ve reported in the past, Tata Motors has a three-platform EV strategy to cover all bases in the EV space till 2030. There’s a possibility that Styzor, Bovita, Auroar, and Xiomara could be based on the recently showcased Gen 2 EV architecture from the Curvv concept, or could adopt the Gen 3 skateboard platform from the Avinya concept. However, it’s to be noted that there is no clarity right now as to whether these names will be used for EVs or IC engine models.
Late last year, the company set up its EV division, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, which, aflush with funds, is upping the ante for Tata’s electric future. The brand had said last year it plans to introduce 10 EVs by 2026.
Tata Motors’ plans for India
Recently, the automaker launched the Nexon EV Max that comes with a larger battery than its predecessor and a 437km ARAI-certified range. Meanwhile, the Curvv and Avinya concepts are expected to enter the market over the next three years and Tata Motors is also said to be working on the all-electric Sierra SUV.
