Tata Nexon discount, Punch, Harrier, Safari, Tiago, Tata discounts October 2024 -DellyRanks

Tata Motors will be looking to claw its way back to the third position on the sales chart in October, having been overtaken last month by Mahindra. In lieu of this, the company is continuing to offer big discounts and benefits on its entire portlier to lure buyers in. In fact, there are plenty of MY2023 models still available at many dealerships and the benefits on these are the greatest. Here’s how much you could save on your new Tata car or SUV during this month.

Tata Harrier

Save up to Rs 1.33 lakh

Some Tata dealerships still have unsold MY2023 inventory, including the pre-facelift Harrier that was on sale over a year ago. These models have total discounts to the tune of Rs 1.33 lakh, while facelift models produced last year have up to Rs 50,000 off. Those who opt for MY2024 Harriers can avail benefits up to Rs 25,000 as an exchange or scrappage bonus.

The Harrier comes with a 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine, which can be paired with either a 6-sxpeed manual or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The MG Hector rival is currently priced between Rs 14.99 lakh and Rs 25.89 lakh.

Tata Safari

Save up to Rs 1.33 lakh

Like with the Harrier, with which the Safari shares its powertrain options, pre-facelift versions of Tata’s 3-row flagship SUV are also available with the same level of discounts. The Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 off on the facelifted MY2023 models and MY2024 models, respectively is also the same. The Safari rivals the Mahindra XUV700 and MG’s Hector Plus, and currently costs Rs 15.49 lakh-26.79 lakh.

Tata Nexon

Save up to Rs 95,000

Tata’s answer to the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and other compact SUVs has up to Rs 95,000 in discounts, albeit for the pre-facelift petrol models produced last year; diesel versions have up to Rs 80,000 off. The Nexon facelift was introduced in September last year, and these models have benefits up to Rs 40,000 off, while MY2024 versions have between Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000 off, depending on whether the petrol or diesel engine is selected.

The Nexon is currently available with a 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 115hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine options, both of which get manual and automatic options. Prices now range between Rs 7.99 lakh-15.50 lakh. The brand just recently introduced the Nexon iCNG, which is priced from Rs 8.99 lakh to 14.59 lakh.

Tata Tiago

Save up to Rs 90,000

Tata’s most affordable model, priced between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 8.75 lakh, gets discounts up to Rs 90,000 on petrol models made last year, while MY2023 CNG variants get up to Rs 85,000 off. Meanwhile, the MY2024 Tiagos have discounts to the tune of Rs 30,000 on the higher variants, while the lower trims see benefits worth Rs 20,000. The Tiago comes with a 1.2-litre engine that makes 86hp on petrol and 73.4hp on CNG, and comes with manual and AMT gearbox options. Rivals include the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and the Maruti Swift.

Tata Tigor

Save up to Rs 85,000

The petrol and CNG variants of MY2023 Tigors have maximum discounts this month, while the all variants of MY2024 models, barring the entry-level XE, have benefits up to Rs 30,000; the Tigor XE variant gets up to Rs 20,000 off. Tata’s rival to the Hyundai Aura and Maruti Dzire comes with the same 1.2-litre engine as the Tiago, and has the same gearbox options. Prices range between Rs 6-9.4 lakh.

Tata Altroz

Save up to Rs 70,000

Like with the rest of Tata’s line-up, MY2023 petrol and diesel versions of the brand’s premium hatchback get larger discounts up to Rs 70,000, while Altroz CNGs made last year have discounts up to Rs 55,000. Meanwhile, buyers of the mid-spec and higher-spec MY2024 Altroz variants will be able to avail between Rs 25,000-35,000. Those looking to pick up the recently introduced Altroz Racer, which is powered by a 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and costs between Rs 9.49 lakh-10.99 lakh, can get up to Rs 50,000 off this month.

The standard Altroz, which is priced between Rs 6.5 lakh-11.16 lakh, comes with 88hp, 1.2-litre petrol; 90hp, 1.5-litre diesel; and 73.5hp, 1.2-litre CNG engine options. However, it’s only the petrol that gets an automatic gearbox option in the form of a 6-speed dual-clutch unit.

Tata Punch

Save up to Rs 18,000

Regardless of whether one picks MY2023 or MY2024 models, buyers of the Punch can get discounts and benefits up to Rs 18,000 on the petrol variants, and up to Rs 15,000 off on the CNG variants. Tata’s answer to the Hyundai Exter comes with a 1.2-litre engine that makes 88hp on petrol and 73.5hp on CNG. Petrol variants get an optional 5-speed AMT option. The Punch is currently priced between Rs 6.13 lakh-10.12 lakh.
